Chocolate Croissants

Chocolate croissants can be a nice treat for any type of occasion. It is simple and quick to make in no time and you could get your kids involved as well.


Ingrediants
  • Tube of croissant dough (any brand will due that comes with 8)
  • 4 squares of semi-sweet Baker's chocolate

Directions

  • Heat the oven according to the directions on the tube of dough.
  • Separate and unroll the dough and place it on a non-stick baking sheet.
  • Break the squares of Baker's chocolate in half and place each half onto each of the croissant dough.


  • Roll the dough over the chocolate until you make a croissant and pinch or tuck the ends to close.
  • Bake the croissants for 15 minutes or until golden brown.




To make it more decorative looking, you can drizzle some melted chocolate over the croissants after they have cooled or dust some powdered sugar over them.
